Caninet General Policy
Bandwidth, Data Storage Limitations:
- Caninet has no bandwidth usage limit on dial up service.
- Customer using high speed acknowledges such that any over usage of bandwidth shall be charged to customer according to the current price per 1GB of over usage.
- Caninet provided user website has 10MB of total storage space per main account. Customer who do exceed over this limit, will be asked to remove content from their personal site to comply with such limitation. Customer who fails to respond to such request, may lose the privilege to have access to website service.
Pop3 and SMTP Email server services:
- Caninet has implemented 30MB of total POP3 server space usage per email account. This quota service will refuse any new incoming email to be stored on to our POP3 server, once user account has reached or is near 30MB of storage space.
- There may be case if user has reached or is near to 26-28MB and if new incoming message size puts total storage space over 30MB, POP3 server will refuse such email message.
- Customer acknowledges to check their email daily and download all email messages.
- Caninet will not be held liable for any lost, rejected or otherwise due to insufficient storage space.
- Caninet has implemented 20MB attachment size limit on all incoming email messages. There will be no exception to this rule. Caninet will be happy to provide your business access to private FTP service for large files, please contact us.
- Caninet SMTP Server will deny any attempt to deliver message which does not originate from within Caninet network. Caninet has implemented Secure SMTP Authentication for those users who do require remote access to SMTP service.
- Caninet SMTP mailhub, actively participates in DNSBL lists from several sources, to reject email messages from well known IP as well as networks, who have engaged in sending out SPAM.
- Caninet SMTP spam, server actively monitors all incoming email messages and will tag message based on content and/or subject, as SPAM. This service is system wide, however, user are allowed to opt out of this option.
